Priority Treatment for Veterans in Primary Care

At Hillcrest Surgery, we are committed to supporting our veteran community. As part of the NHS priority treatment guidelines, veterans—defined as anyone who has served in the UK Armed Forces—are entitled to receive priority access to NHS care for conditions related to their service, subject to clinical need.

This means that where a veteran’s condition is likely attributable to their time in the military, they should be given priority treatment over non-veterans, unless another patient’s clinical needs are more urgent.

Our team is dedicated to ensuring that veterans receive the care and support they deserve. If you are a veteran, please let us know so we can ensure you receive the appropriate support and referrals.
